Nightwish---"Once"
Welcome to the new and improved "Lunatic Ravings". This week I was hoping to list my predictions for
2005 and also see which of 2004 predictions came true but I could not access the site archives this past weekend
so I will be delaying my predictions so I can give you the full scoop.
See? New and improved!

Sure, I can state that I predicted that scientists would discover that peanut butter is the cure for cancer, but
since I'm not sure if that was one of my 2004 predictions, I will not sit here tooting my horn and claiming that
I'm brilliant. I will be patient and wait until I can check the archives, so until then we will discuss something
that affects each of us every day.
We all have been to a deli in a grocery store. It's the perfect place to pick up assorted meats and cheeses for
home consumption. Some delis also feature many different types of salads which is the perfect compliment to the
assorted meats and cheeses.
Sometimes there is a line of people in front of the deli, waiting to pick up their goods. When this happens, most
delis have a ticket machine so that everyone will be serviced in the proper order. It's a simple system that actually
works and works so well that many DMVs use the same system.
However, there are those that think they can dodge the ticket system. They think that just because they only need
one item, they can ditch in front of those that have been waiting patiently. The ticket system has no meaning to
them because they do not respect their fellow humans. They think that the world revolves around them and they should
get preferential treatment since their parents didn't take the time to teach them proper manners and how to interact
with society.
To those people I say, "Shame on you!" You should take a moment and apologize to those that you have
upset and offended but were too proper and polite to make mention of your selfish behavior. One of those people
you upset was just waiting for some chicken salad and potato salad with egg, but they were forgiving enough not
to make a scene in public. This person turned the other cheek as they were expected to do.
Next time, take a ticket. You will find that your problems will disappear and you will discover the goodness surrounding
you. Taking a ticket will only bring you closer to total oneness with your inner self and clear your conscience
so that you can finally experience a complete mental breakdown.
As long as we all follow the simple rules of life, we should all be able to live in peace and harmony.

Dreaming and doing.
