Lunatic Ravings!
If you watch enough of CNN, MSNBC or any other news type channels, you become aware that some of the experts that are interviewed are actually pretty stupid. I especially like the expert who was discussing the Virginia sniper. According to him, this sniper would be very difficult to catch. This statement got me to start thinking because that's what I do and I really have nothing better to do. Say there's a person sitting on their beer and nacho cheese stained couch watching this expert. When he/she hears that a sniper would be hard to catch, they think that this is the thing they needed to get back at the world that's wronged them for their whole life. Maybe they requested sour cream on their 18 tacos the night before and, when they got home, found out that the 17 year old kid must have been thinking about having sex with Bobbi-Jo after work and completely spaced off the sour cream. This is something that could anger a person, but not enough to go out and start killing. Nope, there has to be more. Sure, they were abused as a child by their alcoholic mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, neighbor, teacher, garbage man, power company meter reader, hamster, dog and lawnmower but that's not enough to reach the breaking point. It could be that the movie they were looking forward to seeing for years finally opened, but when they got down to the theater, they were told that all shows were sold out. On top of that, when they went to the local music outlet, they found out that "American Idol: Greatest Hits (With Many More to Come!)" was sold out. All this and more will build and build inside this person until they snap on the day that they have an abnormally large bowel movement that clogs the toilet. Yet that's not the reason they snap. They snap when they jam the plunger in the toilet and the handle breaks off. This causes the snap and our person is off to do someone else some harm because they now know that it will be very difficult to get caught. I just wish that those who feel that their life is so bad that they have to hurt others would actually stop and think about what they're doing. Maybe they'll have a lucid moment, commit suicide and let the rest of us live in peace. COMING NEXT: I swear I'll write something that makes sense. Email Stephen! snide_remarks@theweirdcrap.com
