I was going to write about Miss Cleo last week, but I held off until this week so I could write about her plus
two other special women. That's what makes me wonderful and special!
MISS CLEO:
For some ungodly reason, there's a chance that she might not be all that she's cracked up to be. She might even
be (gasp) a fake!!
Tarot card reading dates back many, many years. It's a profession that takes many years to master and there is
an understanding among all those who dabble with tarot cards that they will not use their powers to entice people
to hand over money for a false reading. Because of this, Miss Cleo from Jamaica can be nothing but legitimate and
I fully believe
in her superpowers as much as I believe the red liquid squirting out of my rectum every time I take a dump is from
me eating too many of those tasty cherry Jolly Ranchers.
MONICA LEWINSKY:
Supposed to be a footnote in history. Supposed to be forgotten. Not supposed to have a special on HBO, yet she
does.
From the mini preview it looks like she's sitting on a stage (minus the silly hat and stained dress) answering
questions from a studio audience. So, what kind of intelligent questions could someone ask Monica?
None.
Hopefully someone goes straight for the jugular and asks "Do you spit or swallow?" This is the type of
question everyone is dying to know the answer to. Fuck asking her how it changed her life or why she felt she had
to do what she did because nobody with half a brain should care.
ANDREA YATES:
So she's insane. That's what the doctors say. That's what her family says. Her husband knows that she's been crazy
for a long time so what does he do?
He keeps depositing his seed into her body so she could give birth to five children in 7 years. If he knows that
she's mentally unstable, why would he keep impregnating her? Would the birth of a child, in his mind, make her
normal? Why would you want to put the pressure of raising a child on someone who's supposedly insane?
Nobody should do what Andrea did. That's common sense. And nobody should give someone who they know is mentally
unstable the chance to do something like she did, but if someone does, then they should also be held liable.
Hey, it's only my opinion.
