They play that song in a TV commercial, and now I can't get it out of my head.
I want to mention that the radio station (KGOR) that was using the NY tragedy as a promotional tool, ain't so bad
anymore. Now they refer to their web site to collect donations for the relief effort. Which is nice.
I watched TV all week, so you don't have to! You can thank me later.
Here's THE NEW FALL TV REVIEW!!!
On Sunday, you can watch "Law & Order: criminal intent." A crime is committed, it turns out the bad
guy did it. There, I just saved you hours of time in front of the TV. Now if you happen to miss "Law &
Order," watch "UC: Undercover." It should be the same.
But if you like a more "hip" cop and robber show, watch "Alias" It's just like "La Femme
Nikita." No wait, it's like "21 Jump Street!" No wait, it's like "The Mod Squad!" No wait,
it's…it's…it's been done.
Also, Sunday has "Men, Woman & Dogs." I'll describe that in three words: Desperate, Network, Executives.
If you like sit-coms, watch "Yes, dear" on Monday. It's not really a new show, but since I never saw
it, it's new to me. Not a sit-com, but just as good, is "Crossing Jordan." Have they learned nothing
from Quincy - NOTHING!!!
Tuesday has an exciting new show, "Smallville." When I saw the ads last year, I thought it was some kind
of "Blair Witch Project" show. But it's Superman! Superman is like Star Trek. I never seem to get tired
of them. Unfortunately I can't say that about Jason Alexander as "Bob Patterson." For him, I give one
word, "Can't-Stand-jya."
So what about Wednesday? Only the bestest-ever, most exciting franchise on Television. It's "Enterprise!"
A new Star Trek!!! Like Superman, I never…(Oh, never mind, I already said that). Also on Wednesday is, "Lost."
It's another reality show, that in reality…sucks.
Thursday brings us a live version of "The Tick." I recorded the cartoons and one tape has an hour left
on the end…maybe I'll record the two episodes that make it on the air.
The Ellen show comes on, on Friday. I always liked Ellen because she's a smart ass, in a classy sort of way.
Reba, the country singer, has her own show called "Reba." During a concert in Omaha, this dude I know,
that works for the stage union, was setting up lights in above her dressing room. Her room didn't have a roof and
he said, "For an older lady, she's got one hell of a body…" And for that reason you should watch her
show.
Friday also has a new show called "Danny." Remember the bad guys from "Home Alone?" Remember
the tall guy that was not funny…he's still not.
There's nothing new on Saturday that I want to see or talk about. And since there is nothing on TV, I suggest you
visit The Weirdcrap on Saturday's and read all the Amazingly Strange Stories that you haven't read yet. Now that's
entertainment!
And now you know.
